Nexus Internet Solutions Ltd. awarded prestigious ISO 9001:2000 quality standard

Brighton Internet company Nexus Internet Solutions Ltd has just been accredited with the International Quality Standard (ISO 9001:2000 this supercedes ISO9000) for its high quality production workflow and processes.

On 21st December 2005 Nexus Internet Solutions Ltd were audited by ISOQAR, a UKAS accredited quality certification body, and in January 2006 they achieved certification of ISO 9001:2000.

The scope of the audit concerned the provision of products and services relating to the development of web based application software and the auditor made the following comments of Nexus’ quality systems:

An excellent job has been made of adapting and implementing an initially generic paperless quality system. Process control and traceability appear to be excellent, there is a strong commitment to customer care and configuration management in all areas is taken very seriously.

The auditor went on to recommend Nexus Internet Solutions Ltd for certification to the ISOQAR Certification Committee who had no difficulties issuing the certificate.

ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that outlines requirements for an organisation’s Quality Management System ("QMS"). It indicates that a supplier has established a systematic approach to quality management.

As part of the ISO process Nexus needed to complete customer research in December 2005, which showed an overall customer satisfaction level of 88 per cent. This measure will be used as a benchmark for going forward to show continuous improvement.

In summary they achieved:

• Score of 88% On Time Delivery – Dependability & Reliability
• Score 95% Support And Assistance (Ease of Access To Support, Response time to queries etc)
• Score of 88% Documentation – Accuracy, Completeness & Clarity
• Score of 92% General Communications – e.g. appropriate Information provided in a timely fashion
• Score of 88% Overall Satisfaction with Service provided (Flexibility, Responsiveness, Communications)
