Nexus Internet Solutions Ltd provides Solmar Villas Travel Web site with "live flight availability"

Nexus Internet Solutions have recently integrated a live charter flight booking system which shows up to the minute availability and prices for charter flights.  Solmar Villas are the latest addition to the Nexus portfolio of travel clients joining the likes of Ski Beat, Barwell Leisure and Ernalow.

In early 2006 Nexus and Solmar Villas worked together to develop a full online booking engine for the villas with pools portfolio of Solmar Villas. The first step was to produce a booking system that showed only villas with pools that were available for book with current prices. The website also allows for car hire, transfers and other extras to be booked at the same time through the process culminating a credit card transaction to secure all aspects of the holiday.

The specialist content management module allows Solmar Villas to update and maintain the stock as required, add more information change prices and change photographs.

The system has been developed around Travelink's application programming interface model which allows customers to create their own quotations and bookings. The bookings are made in real-time requiring very little involvement by the administation staff.

The system facilitates, real-time allocation and pricing of accommodation, supplements, and CTC 3rd party flight and availability quoting and booking.

Along with real-time bookings, should a customer print off a quotation, the quotations are kept in real-time with the in-house booking engine which means that a quote generated by a customer on-line can be passed to an staff based agent by quoting a reference number, this gives the operator the exact booking which the customer sees and they can complete the booking without needing to re-enter the customers holiday details.

Significant improvement on other travel sites

Solmar previously had a flights selection module which many companies have showing charter flights and an idea of prices, however these prices fluctuate all of the time and often the data is already inaccurate despite the XML feeds. The integration of the new flight booking module gives live availability and pricing is a fantastic enhancement to the site.  It means that the clients can book their holidays around flight availabilities and also to check if prices are increasing as flights become full.

We have added various check boxes to the flights page so that in-flight meals, group seating or wheelchair assistance can be requested.  Flight only can be searched within 3, 5, 7 and 14 day windows or on exact dates when booking a villa holiday.

In addition, an extensive range of Car Hire and Transfer options has been loaded into the database to enable you to plan, cost and book your holiday quickly and easily.
