At Goldfinch, we draw on our finance, creative, legal and business expertise to provide Executive and Co-Production services. From 2020, we have operated an in-house, auteur-driven production company, developing, packaging and producing award winning feature films and documentaries for a global audience.
The Number 44 is Goldfinch’s own genre label led by Head of Production Ben Charles Edwards and is solely dedicated to scripted genre movies including horror, thriller, bizart, contained sci-fi, and LGBTQIA projects that perfectly capture the zeitgeist of the moment.
The label is representative and inclusive of modern and imaginative storytelling from authentic creators. Responding to the market and utilising the access to Goldfinch’s in-house talent pool of screenwriters and directors, The Number 44 prides itself on achieving a consistently high level of creative execution on commercially astute budgets – setting a precedent for outstanding style and delivery within the independent film sector.
